After more than ten years of research, my country has broken through the key technology of deep-water cages for anti-wind and waves, established equipment technology engineering theory and high sea state aquaculture safety technology, making my country one of the few in the world that can fully master the deep-water cage aquaculture engineering technology. country.

At present, deep-water cages can meet the standards of once in 50 years (typhoon level 14-16), once in 25 years (typhoon level 12-14), and once in 5 years (typhoon level 10-12), combined with local 15-100 meters The open marine environment is designed, manufactured, and constructed on the sea. The new HDPE C60 deep-water cage can carry up to 60 tons of fish. Compared with the same type of foreign cage, the cost of cage manufacturing is only one-fifth of that.
Increasing production and efficiency: Through the implementation of this technology, the superior water quality conditions of the deep sea can be fully utilized to make the habitat of farmed fish close to the natural state, and the production of aquaculture can reach 10-30 tons per box, and the unit water production is 2.5 times that of ordinary cage , The survival rate is 15% higher than that of ordinary cages.
Technical points: Deep-water cages are composed of three systems: frame, net clothing and anchoring. The framework mainly solves the breeding load and the form of breeding claims; the netting mainly solves the space surrounded by the aquaculture water body; the anchorage mainly solves the fixation and safety of the breeding system. The key technical points for selecting deep-water cage facilities for breeding are as follows:
1. Select the appropriate main parameters of the cage

Consider the installation of deep-water cages, and the water depth requirements: the bottom of the cage should be about 2 meters away from the seabed based on the lowest tide level.
3. Stocking large size seedlings
The stocking specifications of seedlings are directly related to the breeding, production and benefits of commercial fish. Because of the large size and high aquaculture capacity of deep-water cages, it is difficult to change the nets and turn the cages, and deep-water cages are affected by the flow rate, wind and waves. Restrictions, we should try to choose large-scale seedlings for stocking, which can avoid difficulties in breeding operations, shorten the breeding cycle, and improve breeding efficiency. Cobia stocked with fry of more than 30 cm and 8 cm or more of ovate-shaped pomfret is conducive to production arrangements and breeding operations, and it also speeds up the conversion of benefits.
4. Proper stocking density
A comprehensive assessment can be made according to the specifications of the deep-water cages, the species planned to be cultured, the breeding environment, the breeding technology and management level, etc. Generally speaking, the stocking density of seedlings in deep-water cages is 3-5 kg/m3, and the final breeding density is 20-30 kg/m3.
5. Scientific bait feeding
The principle of feeding bait: generally 1 to 3 times a day. Cast more when the tide is flat, and less when the tide is rapid; less when the water is muddy, and more when the water is clear; more when the water temperature is suitable, less or no when the water temperature is low; more before the typhoon, before harvest or No bait is thrown before the box is divided. In the feeding method, the three-character essentials of "slow, fast, slow" should be mastered: at first, you should cast less and slowly to attract fish to feed upstream, and when the fish are swimming to the upper level, cast more and fast. When part of the fish is full and dispersed, slow down the feeding speed to take care of the weak.
6. Change the net and wash the net in time
In the breeding process, as the fish grow, it is necessary to replace the net sacs and clean the attachments of the cage to ensure the breeding environment in the cage. After being placed in sea water for a period of time, the cages are easily attached by some organisms. Not only increases the weight of the cage, but also affects the exchange of water in the cage. Any creatures attached to the cages should be removed in time.
7. Timely stocking and harvest
Deep-water cage culture (cobia, ovate pomfret) is closer to the wild state than traditional small cages due to the good aquaculture environment and less disease. Commercial fish cultured are of good color and high market prices. In addition, the main factors affecting the price of commercial fish are the market season and market specifications. The market season and market specifications are related to the stocking harvest time. The price of cobia is generally more than 8 kg/tail and 0.5 kg/tail of ovate pomfret is relatively high in the market. Of course, the breeding cycle of large-scale fish is longer, and the breeding cost will be relatively increased. Early seedlings, overwintering seedlings, and enlarged size seedlings can also be put on the market ahead of schedule by taking advantage of the fast-growing characteristics of wind-resistant cage culture. When the price is high around the Spring Festival, it will be listed to increase the utilization rate of deep-water cages and the breeding efficiency will be better. Of course, there is also a certain risk of low temperature overwintering.
